Thoughts running through my head...

We are currently playing the waiting game.  Waiting for Sean to leave for Basic...waiting for Graduation...waiting for a duty station (hopefully overseas).  So with all this waiting, naturally, I have a lot of time to think.
A few things come to mind:
- We both have to be a little bit insane to take this journey on.
- I need to stock up on my Big-Girl panties.
- I need re-learn how to tell time.
- Hoarders should be my motivation to de-clutter before the many moves I'm sure we'll make.
- I will no longer be in control.
I AM READY TO GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!!!

My Size Barbie!

I miracle happened during this photo shoot...I got Stacey's hair to curl!!  Like super curl...like, OMG I have an fro! curl.  It was glorious!  What resulted was a curly Grease-style faux hawk :)  I love curly Stacey.  Which, I will remind her, is much different than 6th grade perm Stacey.  Yes Stacey, I did need to mention that :)

A few changes.....

The most recent (and biggest) is that Sean will be heading off to Army Boot Camp & Officer School on August 8th!  We didn't expect him to be leaving so soon, and I was a bit shocked when his liaison said "How's August 2011?" My reply: "What just happened?!!"  So...yeah.  I have less than 2 months to prepare.  Anywho, after a LOOOOOONG day of waiting around in MEPS this past Tuesday, Sean was finally sworn into the Army.

So proud :)

The other obvious change is this blog.  I still plan on using it for my photography (when I have time to do it), but I will also use it to document this new journey we are starting with the Army.
