Almost 10,000 feet!

On Veteran's Day weekend, Sean and I decided to drive up into the mountains to do some sightseeing.  We weren't going anywhere specific, just drove until we found something interesting.  We ended up at Mueller state park.  It was the coldest weekend we've had so far (19 degrees at our house), and by the time we reached our highest altitude, it was probably 10 degrees and painfully windy.  So needless to say we didn't get out of the car for very long, so we'll have to go back when its warmer.  It was still a fun trip, and we got our Christmas card picture out of it :)  Enjoy!
At a random park called Open Space (or something of that nature).

Garden of the Gods across the street

Chasing the snow!

Such a cute town :)

A Veteran's memorial park

I think we got up to 9700 ft!!

Almost our Christmas card...use of camera remote too visible :P

So beautiful!! I never get tired of the views

What we thought was a random Ferris wheel...turns out its the North Pole!!  Pictures of that to follow.
